About Jeremiah Junction Country Folk Art Gifts and Needlework

Owners Allen and Linda Coleman started Jeremiah Junction in 1982 publishing counted cross stitch books. In those days almost every small town had one or more cross stitch shops. In 1987 the company launched CROSS COUNTRY STITCHING magazine followed a few years later with CROSS COUNTRY SHOPPING, the company's needlecraft mail order catalog well known amongst needle crafters.

In 2005 the company took on a new focus — country folk art gifts. Our website, www.jeremiahjunction.com supports this new direction. Several category lines are offered, appropriate to many classes of trade — lawn and garden centers, gift and stationery stores, pharmacies, florists, and farm stands. This is summarized as follows:

Decorative Flags: Since introducing our first flags in 2006, this line is now our primary focus. We're especially proud of our decorative folk art flags — designed to welcome guests, family, and friends to our home. These are "flags with purpose". They speak to you and all are available in both standard and garden sizes. We also offer flag arbors and will soon have other exciting lawn and garden décor. Selling points — classic design, durable nylon with fray resistant stitching, fade resistant dye sublimation printing, bold packaging, and reasonable price.

Resin Reproduction Red ware Plates: These are hand painted and glazed to replicate the look, feel, and weight of red ware. They're much more durable than real red ware and of course a lot less expensive. The 4" plates are our best sellers, closely followed by the 2" size. The 2" plate comes with a gingham hanger — a convenient ornament. For display we offer both wire plate stands and wall mounted racks.

Hand painted resin plaques: These plaques are gift boxed with attractive wire stands. Selling points — colorful folk art design, includes powder coated wire stand, ready to go gift, reasonable price.

Quilt pendant necklaces and folk art mini-signs: Both feature raised surface hand painted and glazed resin with colorful folk art designs. Pendant necklaces include adjustable length black cord choker.

Stationery / Bookmarks: An assortment of designs in several common sizes plus durable laminated bookmarks. Many feature popular quilt block themes. The bookmarks are printed and laminated on both sides.

Magnets: We offer both acrylic and metal magnets, all done with our bold, country folk art style.

Punch Needle Kits: Originally developed for quilt stores we've had a surprising interest amongst gift stores. Our designs feature a colorful, country folk art style. To be effective you'll need a teaching space plus someone willing to offer lessons. We provide reasonably priced starter kits specifically for this purpose. Our kits include preprinted fabric, floss, and instructions. We can help you with tools too.
